Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company - Quint 78

The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company will be placing Quint 78, a new Rosenbauer Viper 109' Aerial in service within the next four to six weeks.
The 109' Rear Mount Viper Aerial is built on a R600 Commander chassis with a Cummins ISX12 500 HP engine and an Allison 4000 EVS automatic transmission. The R600 Commander cab includes seating for six fire firefighters, a low engine tunnel, and a flat floor in the crew area. The quint has a Rosenbauer EXT 3/16" Extruded Aluminum Body and the patent pending Rosenbauer Green Star Idle Reduction Technology. The aerial is equipped with Rosenbauer's exclusive Smart Aerial Controls System. Quint 78 has a Hale DSD 1500 GPM single-stage pump, a 500 gallon water tank, and a FoamPro 2002 foam system with 30 gallon foam tank.
